Westwood is located on a sixty hectare property in the rural sector of the Burnie Municipality of Tasmania boasting sea and rural views
The Westwood site offers a multitude of opportunities for individuals wanting to develop skills and competencies in activities of daily living. With the assistance of our experienced and knowledgeable staff
we invite people with disabilities to access various activities including woodwork, cooking, carpet bowls, shopping, swimming, bike riding, Music session, exercising, scrapbooking and card making (just to name a few).
We also encourage and assist people to get a taste of the different adventures available in the local community. The Westwood site is the identified site for
the local Broadband Kiosk where community members can get assistance from our experienced staff to navigate through the different internet sites.
Just a short walk from Westwood is Horizon.
