Panorama, situated amidst 60 hectares at 186 West Mooreville Road, Burnie, provides 24-hour supported accommodation for people living with severe disability. Panorama residents are supported, assisted and encouraged to develop their abilities, communication and to have as much input into the decision making process in their lives as possible. Residents are supported to attend Day Service activities of their choice and participate in the community continually. The communal living areas at Panorama are light, warm and welcoming as we aim to deliver our services in a homely environment. The bedrooms are furnished and decorated to reflect the personality of the individual resident.
Hodge Avenue is also located at 186 West Mooreville Road. The venue consists of 3 units built in 2008/9 to provide accommodation suitable for those living with disability as well as people providing care and support in the home. Each unit offers privacy and boasts its own deck with stunning views to Bass Strait. The modern homes offer inbuilt personal hoists as well as easy disabled access to all living areas in a warm and sunny open plan setting, designed with the goal of keeping the family unit intact and maintaining social and emotional bonds. Located on the same site as Panorama in Burnie, the Hodge Avenue units offer independent living with the security of knowing assistance is right next door.
