About the role

The Marketing and Communication Coordinator position forms part of the People, Culture, and Capability Team, reporting to the Executive Manager, People, Culture & Capability and working closely with the CEO.

A fast paced and varied role responsible for delivering key communications, engagement, and marketing projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to achieve our communications and marketing priorities.

In this role you will:

· deliver a number of exciting marketing and communications projects

· produce offline and online communications which are consistent across all channels and align with our organisational values, branding and strategy

· responsible for planning, designing, and delivering engaging digital content for social media channels and coordinating ad maintaining content on websites ensuring enhanced performance and reach of social media channels

· help us build great audience and community engagement through thoughtful, informative campaigns and targeted social media conversations.

· A natural storyteller, you will use your writing and content production skills to share engaging stories of the people who and the work that makes our organisation so great.

About you:

· You’re an innovative, high energy, and organised digital content specialist who thrives on engaging communities and audiences.

· The role requires someone to quickly build knowledge and an understanding of the disability support services sector and NFP’s in the NDIS environment and be able to proactively plan and seek opportunities to communicate the work of Multicap Tasmania.

· The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is expected to have excellent written and visual communication skills, experience in writing and managing social media channels and an ability to coordinate proof content for websites

· This position requires attention to detail, excellent judgement, an ability to build excellent working relationships with different teams and stakeholders and an ability to prioritise multiple deadlines (marketing BAU versus key marketing projects) while being responsive to requests and meeting agreed timeframes for web publishing and digital services, where appropriate.

· Desirable – relevant tertiary qualification or experience in social media, communications, or marketing.
