CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Nigel commenced in the role of CEO at Multicap Tasmania in 2016, and has overall responsibility for implementing the strategic plan and ensuring Multicap Tasmania remains viable and effective in the NDIS. He brings a strong a background in transforming organisations, strategic planning and operational management.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Sam commenced work for Multicap Tasmania in 2017, and in addition to her financial management role she oversees our corporate support team which includes rostering, information technology, procurement, fleet and property management services.
EXECUTIVE MANAGER, PEOPLE, CULTURE AND CAPABILITY
Greg Boon was appointed to the position of Executive Manager, People, Culture and Capability of Multicap Tasmania in May 2019. For the five years prior to his appointment, Greg has been operating his own Consultancy Business called People and Safety. His business focused on lifting the performance of people in the workplace, managing their safety risks and improving business profit.
He recognised the potential benefits for businesses where people activity is aligned to a business’s goals and strategy. This is a key area of focus for Greg at Multicap Tasmania.
With over 25 years’ experience working in a broad range of Tasmanian industries in Northern Tasmania, Greg has developed a clear understanding of the Tasmanian workforce and successful business cultures.
Past employers include United Milk Tasmania, Australian Paper Wesley Vale, Launceston City Council as Manager Human Resources and Ben Lomond Water/TasWater as Executive Manager Human Resources.
His tertiary qualifications include a Bachelor of Business specialising in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, Diploma in Work Health and Safety, Certificate III in Investigative Services and Certificate of Business Studies – Accounting. Greg is a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Member of the Safety Institute of Australia.
In his spare time, Greg volunteers as the Deputy Chief Commissioner of Scouts Tasmania with a focus on Northern Tasmania.
LIFESTYLE, LEISURE AND LEARNING MANAGER
Melissa commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2018 and her role has responsibility for service development and improvement across Multicap Tasmania’s Community Hubs (Day Services), located in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie and Wynyard. The role also oversees School Holiday Programs.
COMMUNITY SUPPORTS MANAGER
Tracey commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2012, and has recently transitioned to Community Supports Manager after a year in the Client Services Manager role. Tracey oversees Multicap Tasmania's Home Support Services, Lead Tenant and Out of Home care (Child Safety) Services. She also maintains organisational oversight of our client management system.
Her previous role as Client Services Manager has been handed to our new Client Services Coordinators who oversee the intake of all NDIS clients, including implementation of new plans and service agreements.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES MANAGER
Diarne commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2005, and has been in her current role since 2018. She has responsibility for leading our supported accommodation services, where we provide support services at properties in Wynyard, Burnie, Devonport, and Launceston.
PEOPLE AND CULTURE MANAGER
Kaylene commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2015 and has been in her current role since 2018. Her responsibilities include staff recruitment, workforce planning, training and development, and co-ordination of human resource processes including staff appraisals, mentoring and induction.
