Job Summary

Multicap Tasmania is a leading disability services provider with growing operations across Northern Tasmania.

With increasing demand for our services, we are now recruiting for a Team Leader in Intensive Supports (Residential Services) in the Burnie region.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a leading profit for purpose organisation as an intensive support team leader. We provide specialist disability support accommodation where our clients are supported around the clock by a team of experienced staff.

The role of Intensive Support Team Leader has the responsibility for delivering high quality support services, overseeing, supporting team members and client NDIS outcomes.

As an Intensive Support Team Leader, you will lead processes that place residents at the centre of support provision, ensuring high quality supports are being delivered. You will also be charged with ensuring that our services provide maximum opportunities for resident engagement in the community.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with a knowledge of contemporary practices in the disability sector who is keen to take on a dynamic leadership role in a rewarding, vibrant and growing industry.

The position involves both leading a team of direct support staff and directly supporting people with disabilities.

The role of Intensive Support Team Leader has the responsibility for delivering high quality support services, overseeing and supporting team members, and client NDIS outcomes.

Ensuring the effective implementation of support plans for assigned clients, with a view to maximising the outcomes for clients and achieving improved independence are critically important to this role.

As a Team Leader, you will lead processes that place residents at the centre of support provision, ensuring we are creating great client experiences!

About you

We will welcome your application if you have:

  • Experience planning and leading high quality support services, and have a positive, solutions focused attitude and approach;
  • Experience and skills in leading high performing teams;
  • Demonstrated experience in operational disability support service delivery ideally in an intensive support service.
  • Knowledge of NDIS compliance, standards and processes
  • High level decision making and critical thinking skills; and
  • A passion for the client experience; ensuring we are empowering and encouraging our clients to lead their best lives
