It is an important time for us at Multicap Tasmania. The NDIS has brought with it many changes to operational requirements including quantifying the maximum residents allowed in a single setting. This has provided us with an opportunity to relocate some of the residents at Panorama from what is deemed to be a large institutional setting. We’ll be moving them to much more contemporary housing with a whole range of facilities and services available at their doorstep in Somerset. It’s a really good opportunity for our residents and we are enthused by what this means for them as individuals.
Working again with the design team at 6tyo, Multicap Tasmania has signed off on the contracts to engage 2B Build for the two new properties in Somerset.
“It’s good to be able to continue the relationship with Multicap Tasmania following the successful build in Launceston.”
Joel Wallace – CEO / Director, 6tyo
The development and building applications have been approved for 3 Emily Crescent while the final stages for the development at 7 Emily Crescent are awaiting approval from the council.
Completion of the properties is expected to occur mid-year with the majority of residents to be those exiting Panorama.
“I think that our property in Launceston has raised the bar and we believe this property will do the same for the North West Coast.”
Nigel Hill – CEO, Multicap Tasmania
