Chief Executive Officer
Nigel commenced in the role of CEO at Multicap Tasmania in 2016, and has overall responsibility for implementing the strategic plan and ensuring Multicap Tasmania remains viable and effective in the NDIS. He brings a strong a background in transforming organisations, strategic planning and operational management.
Executive Manager People, Culture and Capability
As Executive Manager People, Culture and Capability, Nicole is responsible for the strategic oversight of key people, culture, and capability building initiatives including leading the development and implementation of a Board-approved People Strategy.
Nicole is focused on helping Multicap Tasmania build a leading employee and client experience by creating a positive, safe, and enthusiastic work culture where learning and innovation is encouraged and people are empowered to contribute their best every day.
Nicole joined us in January 2020 and has held HR executive roles more recently in the local government and water industries.
Executive Manager Business and Finance
As Executive Manager Business and Finance, Gavin is responsible for the effective management and oversight of key financial systems and processes, including the provision of high level financial reporting and management to the Board and Management Team of the organisation. He oversees all accounts (receivable and payable), payroll functions, and corporate service functions. In addition, Gavin oversees Support Coordination services provided by Multicap Tasmania.
Since completing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Tasmania Gavin has spent 20 plus years working in accounting and management roles across Tasmania. These roles spanned numerous industries including supermarket, liquor, fuel, local government, mining, and hospitality and tourism. Outside of work Gavin sits on a number of committees.
Burnie Regional Manager
Diarne commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2005. Prior to a regional restructure, Diarne lead Multicap Tasmania's supported accommodation services, where we provide support services at properties in Wynyard, Burnie, Devonport, and Launceston.
Diarne now oversees all services in the Burnie region.
Devonport Regional Manager
Melissa commenced at Multicap Tasmania in 2018. Transitioning through various positions to her current role as Regional Manager for Devonport, Melissa was previously the Lifestyle, Leisure and Learning Manager. This role oversaw service development and improvement across Multicap Tasmania’s Community Hubs (Day Services), located in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie and Wynyard.
Following a restructure in 2019, Melissa now oversees all services in the Devonport region.
Launceston Regional Manager
Donna has worked in the disability sector for the past 12 years. Supporting people with disabilities into fully wage paid employment opportunities, creating employment-focused traineeships for college students, delivering training workshops to staff and clients, developing new services for outreach support and evening clubs. For the last three years, her focus has been developing supported living services for clients with behaviours that challenge to enable them to leave secure hospital units and live in their local communities.
Donna’s work passion is creating services that promote quality-driven and inclusive services which further the independence of people with disabilities within their local communities. She is really excited to be working at Multicap Tasmania and learning new ways of working to support our services.
Our Client Service Coordinators work with both new and existing clients and their support networks to ensure that we are meeting your support requirements, delivering and reviewing quality of service and development of Person Centred Plans. Working collaboratively with the Regional Managers, the Client Services Coordinators and Regional Coordinator ensure appropriate service delivery planning and monitoring is in place for each Multicap Tasmania client.
