A Warm Welcome to Our New Behaviour Support Practitioner: Madison Carling
We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Multicap Tasmania team—Madison Carling, who joins us as a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner. Madison’s passion for understanding human behaviour and supporting individuals with disabilities aligns with our mission to provide tailored services that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Meet Madison
Madison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and has long been fascinated by the workings of the human mind. Her career began in the role of NDIS Support Coordinator, where she discovered her passion for helping participants access the resources they need to thrive. Through her work as a Program Coordinator, Madison gained valuable experience managing services for vulnerable individuals, further fueling her commitment to making a difference.
In 2024, she officially joined the Multicap Tasmania family, where her focus will be on Behaviour Support. Madison’s experience extends to being an Ambassador for the UTAS Psychology Department and a tutor, advocating for psychology and supporting students as they tackle complex concepts. Her career has been driven by a desire to foster positive outcomes for both individuals and the communities they live in. And we know that Madison Carling will help our clients thrive in her position as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Multicap Tasmania.
Expanding Our Services Across Tasmania
With Madison now on board, Multicap Tasmania continues to build its capacity to support clients across all of Tasmania, we have been supporting people with disability in Tasmania for over 50 years and we are here to stay. Her expertise, along with the skills of our long-standing Behaviour Support Practitioner, Fintan McCullough, enables us to further expand our services.
A Look at Our Behaviour Support Team
In addition to Madison, our team includes Fintan McCullough, who has been a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at Multicap Tasmania since 2021. Fintan’s background as a Disability Support Worker and his Bachelor of Psychological Science degree have helped him develop meaningful relationships with clients all over Tasmania. His multidisciplinary approach ensures that each Behaviour Support Plan is uniquely tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.
Together, Madison and Fintan will work closely with clients to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that enhance quality of life, independence, and functional capacity. Their services are available to both internal Multicap Tasmania clients and clients from other service providers who have Behaviour Support needs identified in their NDIS plan.
